I distinctly remember Richard saying about a week ago on Larry King that there was no need for him to step down because he had "done nothing wrong". Did something recently change? Did he do something in the last 7 days that made him decide to step aside? I guess he did allow 7 more days for incriminating evidence to surface before doing what should have been done a year ago. Deny, deny, deny until you can deny no longer. Keep it up Dick, it looks like denial is working about as well as prayer.
As more info surfaces we are all going to remember that King interview and the explanations he gave. That interview was a bad idea for the Roberts' camp. I happen to know the true facts and that proof exist to prove he was lying boldly to the world. This temporary leave of absence will not be temporary at all.
Billy Joe Daughtery running the university...please! Sounds like a smoke screen for Richard to continue to run the university and "stack the deck" from afar. Honestly, this is not a reflection on Pastor Daughtery but this is a university. I want to know why Roberta Potts hasn't been asked to come back as President of ORU. She felt called to the position when she was employed by the university but Daddy Oral wouldn't have. She quit in protest. Seems to me she could be a wonderful candidate...an honest attorney with character who loves ORU. But wait, with Roberta at the helm ORU would no longer be Richard and Lindsay's cash cow. God help ORU!
OREA does substantial business with several companies...who owns those companies?
Roberts family and friends? Somebody needs to look into who owns those companies and who benefits from those expenditures, especially the OREA advertising expenditures.
anonymous: Pastor Billy Joe has been named INTERIM president....until such time as the appropriate person is found. No need to start throwing darts at him for agreeing to step up to the plate TEMPORARILY.
